Silk & Strip
Privacy
We do not ask who you are, and we never see what happens at your table.
The short version
There is no account, no sign-up and no email field anywhere in this game. We do not collect your name, your answers, the players you add, or anything you or anyone else does while playing. None of it is sent anywhere — it never leaves your browser.
What stays on your device
The game uses your browser's local storage — not cookies — to remember three things, all of them on your device only:
- — The language you picked, so the game opens in it next time.
- — That you confirmed you are 18 or over, so the gate does not ask again.
- — The game in progress — level, scores and player names — so a locked screen or a closed tab does not cost you the evening.
- — Clearing your browser data, or using private browsing, removes all of it. Ending a game clears the saved game straight away.
What our hosting provider sees
The site is served by Lovable. Like any web host it processes the technical data every request carries — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the time. The published site also loads Lovable's own analytics script, which records page views and basic usage statistics. We use this only to know whether the game is being played and whether it is working.
Fonts loaded from Google
The typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means your browser contacts Google's servers, and your IP address reaches Google as part of that request. If you would rather that did not happen, a browser extension that blocks third-party requests will stop it; the game still works, in a fallback typeface.
The public endpoints
The site exposes read-only addresses that return the game's own content — the card deck, the levels and the house rules. They return no personal data of any kind, because there is none to return.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over or delete — the technical records described above sit with the hosting provider. Write to us anyway if you have a question and we will point you to the right place.
Children
This game is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly process any data belonging to a minor.
